COURAGE

COURAGE: Joshua 1:9 "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed." Courage is defined as the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger or pain. Do not allow fear and discouragement hold you down any longer. Instead, Be Courageous with your life. Get out of the Safe Zone & into the Faith Zone - where Dreams are Formed & Achieved.

  1. There is something about old school works (very old school works, Bible included---grin) that add blessings to my day. The early 80’s group 2nd Chapter of Acts Anne (intone it) sing a courage-summoning song that blesses me beyond measure every time I listen to it. Thanks for the good Word Joe. Have a great day Game Day. You have a way of bringing courage to the discouraged----Be blessed.
    Catharina von Schlegel wrote Be Still My Soul in the early 1700’s,,,enjoy
    1. Be still, my soul; the Lord is on thy side;
    Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain;
    Leave to thy God to order and provide;
    In every change He faithful will remain.
    Be still, my soul; thy best, thy heavenly, Friend
    Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

    2. Be still, my soul; thy God doth undertake
    To guide the future as He has the past.
    Thy hope, thy confidence, let nothing shake;
    All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
    Be still, my soul; the waves and winds still know
    His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below.

    3. Be still, my soul, though dearest friends depart
    And all is darkened in the vale of tears;
    Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,
    Who comes to soothe thy sorrows and thy fears.
    Be still, my soul; thy Jesus can repay
    From His own fulness all He takes away.

    4. Be still, my soul; the hour is hastening on
    When we shall be forever with the Lord,
    When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone,
    Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored.
    Be still, my soul; when change and tears are past,
    All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.
