THE RISK OF LOOKING LIKE A FOOL: 2 Samuel 6:21-22 "I will celebrate before the LORD. I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes." When King David defeated the Philistines & returned home with the Arc Of the Covenant. He disrobed himself & began to leap & dance before the Lord. He had no shame in expressing his gratefulness to God for his victory even if it took THE RISK OF LOOKING LIKE A FOOL.

MOST THANKFUL MAN: Ephesians 5:20 “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Today, I am so thankful for the decision I made many years ago to marry my high school sweet heart. I am also thankful for the 3 beautiful daughters that we have. Through the ups & downs; peaks & valleys of our family life, I am especially grateful to the Lord on this Thanksgiving day for His provision, His protection, His plan & His purposes for my family. It is why I feel that at this very moment, I am the earth's MOST THANKFUL MAN.

GOD'S GIFT TO US FOR OTHERS: Romans 11:29 AMP "For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.]" God placed in us His gifts. It consists of His plan & destiny for our lives. The talent, abilities & personality make up was also added in there in seed form to be developed to help us to fulfill God's plan for our lives. Maybe you didn't know that fact until now. Well, that gift is in you & He will not withdraw it or change His mind about you so start living for God & start using GOD'S GIFT TO US FOR OTHERS.

FAITH & ENDURANCE: Hebrews 6:12 NLT "Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance." God's promises come to us as seeds. Like a farmer, we must remember there is a process for the seed to bear fruit. First the seed (promise) must be planted in our hearts. Then it will take root (growth but all underground). Then it will begin to breakthrough the soil. Then the stem, the leaf and finally the fruit. Remain steadfast & hopeful in God's promises. It will take FAITH & ENDURANCE.

COMPASSION IN ACTION: Matthew 14:14 "Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick." Many people will feel compassion towards families that go through sorrow but never attempt to help. Jesus models what true compassion is all about - Action! As we enter into what many call the "Holiday Season." Let's not forget to reach out to those who are in need of God's hope & Love. When you practice this Christian fundamental you become like Jesus who loved people and demonstrated COMPASSION IN ACTION.

TIME OUT: Ps. 34:3 "Come and magnify the Lord with me let us exalt His name together." Athletic teams use timeouts to rest & refocus or to make adjustments. On a daily basis we need to take a time out in our schedule to magnify the Lord. When we magnify God, we change our perspective. We zoom in on God's Majesty, His wonders, His Peace & faithfulness. In that same moment we begin to zoom out of our daily challenges & pursuits. It is then that we can get refreshed , restored & make whatever adjustments in our attitude and perspective for that very moment. Take advantage of using your TIME OUT.

FOCUS ON THE GO(O)D: Acts 16:25 “Around midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening.” How we feel isn’t determined by our circumstances. How we feel is determined by our focus. Our internal attitudes are more important than our external circumstances. Although Paul & Silas were severely beaten by wooden rods and held in a dungy cell in stocks, they chose to sing songs to the Lord. I'm not sure what you're going through in life but remember to FOCUS ON THE GO(O)D.

NEW PERSPECTIVE: Psalm 119:18 "Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law." Instead of seeing wonderful things in our current situation, we choose to wonder why things aren't better. Sometimes we need to exchange our narrow perspective with God's broad perspective & begin to see the wonderful opportunities that is before us. In prayer, Let's ask the Lord to help us gain new insights by helping us to gain a fresh & NEW PERSPECTIVE.

LIFE SAVER: Galatians 1:4 NLT "Jesus gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live". The Lord has rescued & saved us from the penalty of our sins. Now let's commit our lives to sharing the good news of Christ to help rescue others. There are many who are drowning in the rough, high seas of life. Let's throw out the life saver to those who are being overwhelmed with life's issues. Jesus is the LIFE SAVER.

HOW'S YOUR SPIRITUAL APPETITE?: Proverbs 27:7 NLT "Honey seems tasteless to a person who is full, but even bitter food tastes sweet to the hungry." We need to be careful that we don't get intoxicated by our over-indulgence and over-consumption of our pursuits & pleasure that we lose our appetite for the things of God. Maintaining our priorities & focus is key. Let's keep God first & foremost in all that we do to keep ourselves hungry for His presence. So, HOW'S YOUR SPIRITUAL APPETITE?

YOUR EXPENSIVE PRICE TAG: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 "You are not your own. You were bought with a price." Our lives are so valuable that God paid a great price for the exchange of our eternal salvation at the expense of His Son. Don't settle for less by reducing your value by giving your life over to the temporary pleasures of this world and vain pursuits. God is eternally in love with you & that's why He paid off YOUR EXPENSIVE PRICE TAG.

THE VALUE OF YOUR SOUL: What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his soul? What will a man exchange for his soul (Mt 16:26)? If all the riches in the world from the billionaires, corporations, banks, precious metals like gold, gems, diamonds, oil wells, were added up, it still wouldn't have the same value as your soul. THAT'S HOW VALUABLE GOD SEE US. We were purchased with a great price - the Life of His own Son Jesus Christ. No longer accept the lies of the enemy that you are cheap & insignificant - for now you know THE VALUE OF YOUR SOUL.
